We are once again in the middle of the most prestigious and marquee cricket event – the World Cup.
We have seen new frontiers (b)reached by batsmen and bowlers becoming more like cannon fodder. In the middle of it, associates like Ireland, UAE, Afghanistan and Scotland are punching above their collective weights for their survival in this prestigious tournament and for upcoming editions. New Zealand finally seems to have got their act together and are looking hot favorites to win the tournament. India, Australia and South Africa seems to be the worthy challengers to the Black Caps.
We are half way down the League Phase with 21 matches over and its ideal time to see who all fared well and who has left much to be desired. Let us now see CWC 2015 so far in numbers.
